Two Wheels!!!!

For a couple of months, I've been thinking that Nathan seems ready to learn how to ride a bike. He has great balance when he rides his Razor Scooter. But the bike that Dan and I bought him last year is definitely way to big for him to learn on. But, this past Thursday, I picked up a hand-me-down bike from a friend that is much smaller and by Saturday afternoon, Nathan was riding on his own!

It was truly amazing just how fast he picked it up. Now he is working on how to start all by himself. Pretty soon, he'll be a pro!

The Handy Brothers

A few weekends ago, we went over to Grammy and PopPop's house so the boys could work on a special project with PopPop. During some Saturday morning errands, they had picked up all of the supplies and these cute little aprons from the Home Depot.
PopPop set up a special place in his basement workshop for the boys to build.

With a little bit of glue, nails and some help, the boys made.....

It was a really fun project. We'll have to head up to the Home Depot next time they are hosting a Kids Workshop. The boys really enjoyed it - how could they not like being encouraged to bang things with a hammer?!?!?!
