Our neighborhood puts on great family-friendly events throughout the year including an annual Easter Egg Hunt. This was our first year attending, and boy was it another beautiful day!
And they're off........
Despite the 8,000 eggs that South Riding had laid out in the field, when Nathan and Dan emerged from the mosh pit, they had about 5 eggs in the basket. Here are the boys checking out the treats...
Inside two of the eggs were two parachute bunnies. It was such a beautiful day that we decided to walk over to a nearby playground to launch the bunnies.
After playing for awhile, we were getting hungry for lunch. It was so beautiful that we decided to walk over to
McDonalds (the closest food option) and bring some lunch back to the playground and have a picnic. As you can see below, we had a little trouble with Andrew's carrots.....
