Camping Fun

In June, Dan and Nathan were invited to join Eric and Emilia for a fun camping weekend with Reston Bible Church. So they piled all their gear into the Korsvall's Pilot and set up camp at Pohick Bay Regional Park in Lorton, VA.

Friday night's set-up dinner was catered by KFC, but afterwards..... Chef Eric went to work. What's a camping trip without a fire and some s'mores??

During the day, the kids enjoyed lots of planned activities with the rest of the campers. The dads even got to participate in a special water balloon toss!

During some free time, they visited Pirate's Cove waterpark and had a blast splashing around.
Nathan even participated in the Family Talent Show. He told a knock knock joke.... apparently he was very courageous and cute, but the joke...... not so funny.

On Sunday morning, all of the campers participated in a outdoor church service and then packed up to head home.

But before leaving, the guys made one last stop.... to see Pohick Bay.

It was a very special weekend for Nathan and Emilia and their dads!
