While the boys enjoyed the party at the farm, I was busy with last minute preparations to celebrate my mom's retirement from Fairfax County Public Schools. We gathered for a delicious lunch at Ciro's Ristorante and had fun learning about some of the things my mom has done so far in her lifetime and providing suggestions for things for her to do with all of her free time in the future!
What better way to celebrate retirement than with your own family! They will be the ones to take care of you in the end anyways. It's so thoughtful of you to have prepared a celebration like this for your mom. =) Such a gesture is something to be admired and followed by others.
