Andrew has been very patiently waiting for his turn to play baseball. The cut-off date to start T-ball is April 30th, so he missed that by 5 days! However, in the spring, our league offers Blast Ball (basically an introduction to T-ball) for his age group. So with Dad as his head coach, Andrew just could not wait to play! With all the rain, the season was off to a slow start, but finally in late April, the Bats put on their uniforms for their 1st game. I was only able to stay for the 1st inning, but it was completely adorable to watch these boys attempt to play baseball. Although it wasn't Andrew, the cutest moment I saw was one of the batters run directly to 2nd base across the pitcher's mound! Luckily, these games only last 3 innings, but they are fun!
