Birthday Weekend at Lake Anna

I'm a little behind on this post, as it was from a few weekends ago. But the boys and I headed down to Lake Anna on Thursday night to enjoy one more weekend at the lake before I went back to work. It was also the weekend of my birthday (no need to tell you how old I am, but it's old). The weather was great and the water temperature was perfect. We all enjoyed LOTS of time down on the dock and splashing around in the water, including Lucy! It is really amazing how much Nathan's comfort level in the water has increased this year. He now enjoys floating in the "deep, deep water" on his own with his life vest and he's starting to get braver about jumping in.




We also enjoyed many boat rides on the new "little boat" and the "big boat". We even took Andrew out for his 1st boat ride. It put him right to sleep!



The "big boat" ride also put Nathan to sleep one afternoon and he continued his nap on the boat for about an hour after the boat returned to the dock!


We also enjoyed S'mores around the fire pit one evening. Boy they are yummy!
