Hersheypark Fun

We finished up our weekend in Pennsylvania with hot & steamy fun-filled day at Hersheypark with our Twizzler (Nathan), Reeses Cup (Emilia), Two Kisses (Andrew & Anna) and a Miniature (Julia).

Weekend in Amish Country

In July, we headed north to Pennsylvania with Korsvalls.  Friday was super rainy which was fitting weather to see Noah at the Sight & Sound Theater.  We almost had to build our on ark!
Luckily the sun came out the next morning and we had a full day of fun.  We rented this adorable house for two nights which was a perfect location for our Saturday plans.  We spent the morning at the Strasburg Railroad.  We also took a train ride which went right by the house!

Then after lunch, we parked our cars in the driveway and walked across the street to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.  The farm was kind of a mix of Cox Farms and Great Country Farms, but better! Our Corny Cob and Lil Kernels had a blast!

After some quick, much needed showers, we headed to Good & Plenty for dinner.  It was a crowd pleaser!

The 4th at DCL

For the 4th of July, we were blessed with beautiful weather at Deep Creek Lake (a few passing showers did not spoil the fun).  Nathan and Andrew were in heaven playing outdoors with their cousins.  There was lots of splashing, jumping and paddling!  And we even enjoyed a boat ride and some tubing with the neighbors (unfortuantely I forgot the camera).  Hopefully next year, baby JP will be splashing with the big kids!
